Does baby move with contractions?

I'm feeling more pressure down in my pelvis, and the baby is super squirmy. I don't know if I'm feeling contractions, sometimes I kinda feel sick to my stomach. But I don't know if it's just because the baby is twisting and kicking.

I'm 39+1 and haven't noticed and BH or anything, lost my mucous plug two weeks ago, no bloody show: my membranes were swept last week and there was a little spotting that day, but nothing else.  I'm really hoping labor starts soon, but I don't know if what I'm feeling is contractions or not.

Yes it works both ways!  Baby will react to contractions and sometimes a lot of movement from baby can trigger them too.  At least that's my experience.

I remember my babes wiggling slightly or making a small movement after a contraction was over.
