Tips? Help?

So um me and my boyfriend have been together for 9 years now and I'm still younge and all but lately I've urged to yanno and he said maybe we could try. I think I'm ready but what am I supposed to do. Then I'm afraid I'll mess up somehow and he'll leave me. It causes anxiety but I fantasize about it with him all the time. Can someone help...
