TTC with PCOS???

Who here is TTC with PCOS??? Hubby and I have been trying for just under a year and nothing so my doctor was concerned since my periods are very irregular (38-53days) that I have pcos so he sent me for blood work two weeks ago. And of course now he's on holidays and I have to wait another ten days before I can get my results, but they refused to give me the results over the phone (I'm a nurse and they would have had it been normal). So I'm convinced it's positive. So I want to know who has it, what are they treating you with to help conceive and how long have you been trying since starting treatments??? I need some hope and encouragement!!

After tests and a scan I was told I had PCOS in May after ttc for about 9 months. My cycles were similar to yours, varying from 50 - 100 days! We were going to be referred to fertility experts in August so just told to keep going in the mean time! After my period I started to use those super cheap opk sticks from amazon and after about 40 days I got a positive for ovulation! 2 weeks later I got a positive pregnancy test!! I'm now 11 weeks :) I would def recommend using the cheap opk sticks as they helped me! Good luck xxx

I have PCOS, I have been diagnosed since 20 years old.

Since being comfortable with my boyfriend, we decided not to actively try but not to prevent it (come off all birth control).

After 3 years nothing happened naturally. But my weight was ballooning so my dr. put me on metformin (a diabetic medication, that helps regulate sugar levels which in turn will help with hormones. Good for weight loss and TTC) to help with weight loss within a month of taking it I was pregnant! Not expected at all! But first month on it we have a little miracle on the way! 20 weeks and counting 😍

There is hope. There is help. It doesn't need to be expensive.

Got a positive opk june 4th we bd on june 3rd. I spotted on Sunday 6dpo (dark brown) and Monday (light red). Ive been feeling crampy all evening & bloated. I’ve also been nauseated for about 2 weeks now which is weird. Could that have been implantation bleeding or is my period coming sooner than expected? Im freaking out

Been trying for just over a year and was diagnosed with PCOS nearly 2 years ago.

Was referred to a FS and they have been so fantastic and thorough! My GP gave me the old "just keep trying". Well they missed that I had a dermoid cyst inside my ovary the size of a golfball that could have been partly the cause of irregular periods aside fom the PCOS. I've come so far with tests and an operation to have the cyst removed and have been given the all clear to start clomod with trigger shot and IUI!!! I'm so excited to finally be getting somewhere as before I felt like I was a a dead end.

Hopefully you find out your results soon and can also move forward to treatment if necessary. It's just nice when you hear them say "we can help you!". Good luck!
