When to tell the children?

My partner and I have to 6 year olds from previous relationships and I'm 11 weeks pregnant.  Just wondering when people told their children their going to be big brothers / sisters? We thinking of waiting until the 1st scan?

Depends on if you are prepared for them to shout it to the world. I was so happy to tell my 7 year old, but I know he has a slight sense of reservation with telling other people. We saw the heartbeat the day after we told him. ❤️

I think I told my 7 year olds at 7 weeks, I think and they haven't told a soul( that we are aware) and I'm 11 weeks now. I just told them not to say anything and it's something mommy and daddy should share.
