Co-sleeping or nursery

Hi ladies. I'm a first time mom. I was thinking of having baby in the nursery from hospital which is next door to our room. I'm a bit worried now about throw up that he might choke on his vomit and I wouldn't know. Am I being crazy if not how do I go around that please ?
