breast milk recovery!!

Melanie • Mommy of 2 beautiful crazy girls👯‍♀️
So I made the choice of trying to exclusively pump for my LO and it was going great in the beginning. My problem was we moved from 4 different houses in one month so I couldn't keep up w/ pumping for her Especially now that she eats 4 ounces every 3 hrs.. And since I wasn't pumping I had gotten mastitis and it made me scared to give her breast milk so I stopped for awhile and supplemented w/ newborn enfamil for her. But once I got rid of the mastitis I got back to pumping but used breast milk and formula. After awhile I got lazy w/ pumping and would give her nothing but formula for about 2 weeks. Than she got constipated! And it made me feel so bad for not giving her breast milk, so I tried pumping again and didn't even get an ounce of milk, I got discouraged and was about to give up. But I didn't and made myself pump every 3-4 hrs and now I'm getting my milk backup!! I'm getting 3-4 ounces w/ every pump, I still give formula if I don't pump enough but I'm hoping to be able to pump more milk more often or even get her to learn how to latch!! Soooo long story short I stopped producing milk for my LO and was able to get it back up by pumping 😄 And I did learn that she isn't constipated it's just that some new borns struggle in the beginning w/ pooping, so I help her by squating her or just pushing on her legs or I use a thermometer.. But don't give up on breast feeding or pumping ladies!💪🏻😊
