Endo?

I'm just waiting to see my Dr to set up a surgery date to see if I have Endo. I think it's starting to affect my fertility & my quality of life is slowly diminishing - I'm always in so much pain. 
Does anyone have Endo & have had a laparoscopy done? If so, how are you now(pain wise) & have you become pregnant after?

I had the laparoscopy to remove my endo and it completely changed my life. No more pain. And when I started trying to get pregnant, it took about 3 months.

I put off my laparoscopy for 10 years. I am soo happy I got it done. My quality of life is so much better, I'm happier, and was pain free for a long time. I am now 3 years post op, and have been TTC for 8 months, but I have really bad PCOS, so that's where my fertility problems are. My endometriosis was so bad part of my bowel had adhered to the back of my bladder. Good luck!!!

Yes, I had such a bad case of endo my OB/GYN thought I wouldn't be able to get preggy without fertility meds (my mom was the same way). She did the lap on me in 2009 & it significantly helped my pain! I was also put on a different BC pill than I had been on before the lap & I feel that helped prevent it from coming back so badly too. Fast forward 3 yrs, missed a few BC pills during finals week in college & had a surprise pregnancy with my hubby! I was shocked but elated that I had gotten pregnant at all without fertility meds, and that baby is a healthy 3 yr old boy now 😊 I'm currently pregnant with our 2nd child, it took 3 months of trying to become pregnant with her & she's doing great so far! All this to say, it was one of the best things that's happened to me & I hope you get similar results 🙂

Yes I have it and I tried for 9 months when I had my surgery (I was having a ton of pain) and they removed a lot of growths including one the size of my ovary and less than three months later I was pregnant! I didn't even ovulate on my own before my surgery and it made my periods super regular and I started ovulating and bam! After having my son I'm having issues again but my doctor has me on meds and things to help see if we can avoid surgery again but if things don't work in another few months surgery will probably be an option
