Similac or enfamil? Why?

I breast and formula fed and my daughter preferred Similac.

Similac. That's what daycare provides. Why spend out of pocket to fo something else unless you have to?

Im not sure but my cousins co worker had an extra box of similac formula so she gave it to me and if i am not able to breastfeed I will be trying it out...it seems like most people use it and dont have many problems

I would suggest doing research on the recent problems with enfamil :/ it's terrifying what I have witnessed happening to a few babies from it, I will NEVER give my child enfamil, (though I don't plan on doing formula anyways) but I know things always happen.

I gave my daughter enamil but now she 2 months she dont want it at all so im trying gerber formula she likes it.. im also breastfeeding too so I do both .. wic wont cover gerber which sucks.

My daughter was on Emfamil for the first 5 months and she never had any issues - we got signed up for WIC and they only provide Gerber so we switched and the transition sucked.. made her stop pooping for a few days but she's back on track at 10.5 months and doing great. We have never tried Similac.

Similac was hard on my baby's tummy so we switched to Enfamil and it's going great. Similac is cheaper and I like the packaging/marketing better but ped recommended Enfamil and baby liked it so I'm sticking with it.

I will be breast feeding but supplementing and I default to enfamil however WIC in my area only offer Similac so If I decide to go with enfamil it'll come out of my pocket which is fine, but I just wanted to see what u ladies thought.

If you are only formula feeding then I would go with either but if you are breastfeeding as well similac tastes sweeter like breast milk than Enfamil

I default to Enfamil because our Hospital does and our baby will be bottle fed. Not breast fed.

That and I find the best deals on Enfamil. Honestly, other than specialty formulas for sensitivity and allergies they are all about the same nutrition wise.
