FACT: You're really not supposed to use soap on the inside of the vagina because it cleans itself and using soap can throw off your PH balanace.

Wash your LABIA with soap and water, not your VAGINA. There is a difference people! Your labia is the outside lips, your vagina is where your tampon goes. Your vagina is self cleaning, your Labia is not. Putting anything in your vagina that's not intended to be there can cause all sort nasty infections, this includes soap.

However you should clean your vulva with a gentle soap, preferably unscented.

I don't wash 'inside' my vagina with anything, just wash the outside.

I wash my inner labia with water. I wash my outer labia with unscented baby shampoo. If I try to use anything more than water on my inner labia, I get a major raging yeast infection. Every single time.

I use soap everytime but i dont put it INSIDE- just all around it and whatever can be seen.
