"Annoying little boyfriend"
Wondering if anyone else has gone through a similar situation during a long-term relationship..
My SO & I have been together for about a year; when we first met we instantly bonded and quickly become best friends as well as lovers. There was never really much romance involved because he's a goof ball and I'm not much of a romantic either. This is fine with me but recently we've been having less sex, which is VERY important to me in a relationship because it's a good way to bond & get that romance that we are otherwise missing.
Anyway, lately because of all this I'm becoming more and more annoyed with him. Things that before would've brightened my day and made me cry laughing, now make me frustrated and view him as childish. He's noticed this mood change & questioned it the other day so I tried explaining to him that I'm sexually frustrated and the less we bond romantically..the more I see him as a "annoying little brother."
Has anyone else been through this? Am I over thinking how much sex can affect a relationship? If you have been through this, were you able to overcome the problem or was it the end?
