Help wth losing weight

I have not always been a bigger girl. Growing up and all throughout high school I weighed under 130 pounds. After getting on birth control and just every day life I managed to gain tons of weight. I remember I thought I was "fat" at 160 pounds and now I would kill to be 160 pounds. I'm currently between 220-230 pounds and am 5'3''. My heaviest weight was almost 250. I really would like to lose 70-90 pounds. I'm just wondering how others have done it or what suggestions people have? I know diet and exercise are key but don't know exactly what I'm doing when it comes to that. I'd like to not spend a handle of money but I know my health needs to come first. I want to feel beautiful again and confident. I noticed some gals on here have said they lost a lot of weight by clean eating but what exactly does that consist of? What are good examples of non-processed foods? Just looking for any help/suggestions. Please do not be rude.
