Should your boyfriend have a say in the clothes you wear?

My boyfriend doesn't want me to wear v-necks or low cut shirts because my boobs will be showing. I'm curious, do you ladies think that he should have a say in the clothes you wear?

Tbh I think it's cute in a way. Like my man will see me in something and be like no those shorts are too short took out like that. That's just for me to look at 😈😍 he doesn't say it controlling tho

Here's my opinion as woman we should be able to pick out our own clothing as long as we stay classy. I tell my 14 year daughter classy not assy, if it's assy NEXT lol. But things like v-necks are fine, he needs to loosen up, that's a bit controlling. Next he'll be telling you to not wear makeup, they always start on the clothing, next is the makeup, then it's who you can talk to and where you can go; it's a gradual process of control and it follows patterns. I always consider if I wore something in public would I be ok to stand next to my father if the answer is yes then its fine. If you were wearing booty shorts up your butt crack with cheeks hanging out well then maybe it would be wise of him to put an opinion in,  but that's it an opinion,  never make rules.

I think it's acceptable to some extent. If he says he doesn't like something on you, and he doesn't expect you to take it off or go change if you like it, just simply expresses his opinion, that's okay. But when it starts to get serious to the point where he forces you to not wear certain clothes, that's not okay.

Absolutely not. My ex was extremely controlling and the first thing he started controlling was my clothing. It was all down hill from there. I don't allow any man to tell me what I can and cannot wear anymore because of that.

It's very controlling. You have the right to wear whatever you want, no matter how revealing. It's your body, it's your choice. He may be your partner but he cannot take control of your body.

It's controlling. It's not like your purposely trying to show your boobs off to the world. It's your body, you should be able to wear what you want. My boyfriend completely respects me & never has an issue with the things I wear.

Sometimes... If I'm wearing something around another person and he feels uncomfortable with it I'll change but he doesn't tell me I can't wear something
