Combo-Pill Experiences!! Please read!!

I've heard some nasty things about blood clotting, migraines, and other things causing death, paralysis, and stroke from taking oral contraception. I know the chances are slim (and as far as I know I don't think I have a history of blood clotting in my family, and my blood pressure is normal), but can some of you share your experiences on the combo pill, if you're still on them, why you quit/stayed on the combo pill, or changed to a progesterone-only form of the pill! Thanks so much, I'd just really like to be reassured.
