It's good for a relationship I think to live together, especially prior to getting engaged or married. You never truly know someone until you live with them! If you even think it's going to get serious enough for  marriage, live with them for a while first ;) Reduces the divorce rate 😊

Moved in together after we got married, at which point we'd been together approx 3.5 years

2 years but that is because we started dating at 16. We moved in together the night of high school graduation at 18. We are now 25 married and love each other more then ever. I think it is important to live with your significant other before marrying them. You don't really know someone until you live with them. The first two years living together was the hardest because we learned so many things about each other and a lot of things we didn't like or agree with. It's all about compromise though

We met in 6th grade, we started dating at 19 and we moved in together after 11 months together. We got married last year and we've been together 4 years now. Living with someone takes a lot of patience. I'm glad we moved in together before we got married because we learned so much about each other in the 2 years leading up to our marriage.

8 years lol met my husband when I was 18. We were together for 5 years then broke up because I felt he didn't appreciate the way I deserved. Spent one miserable year apart from each other and realized we loved each other too much to be apart. Got back together, got engaged and got married a year and a half ago. Didn't live with him until the day after our wedding. I had super strict Mexican parents who would never let me spend the night at his house and highly disapproved of us living together before marriage. We haven't had a problem living together. We get along great minus my pet peeves but everyone has these small issues. Nothing to get divorced over. And I wouldn't change a thing about our relationship 😊

We moved in together once we got married, which was 4 years and 11 months after we started dating.

5 months. He was finishing uni so he either had to hang around or go home across country. I live in an expensive area and settled into a good job so it was only logical to move in together to save costs and get his career started in a well paying area. Now it's 5 years later, we're married, done the dream honeymoon, in good jobs, bought a family home, and now just need to fill it.
