Why do some men blow dry their penis?

I've seen that on American Horror Story, on a few other series and stuff but why? I dont have a boyfriend or a husband and asked a guy friend and he said he doesnt know and my ex boyfriend did that once like through his pants but he just recorded it (he was hanging out with his friends) and sent it to me I thought it was just a joke.

The men that i know that do it, do it to prevent jock itch. That shit is awful once you get it, so if you blow dry down there every time to make sure it's perfectly dry after a shower, it cuts down the risk of getting it.
