Shortenings of names
Used as a full name?
What's everyone's opinion on this? We love the name Kit for our son and it literally is the only one we've agreed on that feels right. We've had massive lists but nothing set.
Neither of us want Christopher/Christian/kristophe or any of the other full versions of this name. My OHs dad is called Christopher but they have only just recently got back in contact so it's not like a close relationship although I think it would be a cute nod to him maybe.
My first son was called Theo and not Theodore but he died shortly after birth so I never thought it was a big deal since the name issue would never come up.
