Glucose drink test?

What exactly is it for? I'm currently sitting in my doctors office waiting to do the blood work for it and honestly have no clue what it's for and what it means if I pass or fail

Answer

It's testing how your body responds to glucose. If you fail the one hour test you'll have to do a 3 hour one, and if you fail that one it means you have gestational diabetes. Most of the time that goes away after birth but it can cause things like having a large baby and I think premature labor? I'm not sure about that but anyways that's what they're testing for.
