I'm due on on my birthday, can I just take two packs of the pill and then leave a week? Then keep taking one pack a month and bleeding a week or will this mess me up??

I ALWAYS skip my placebo week so I don't have a period. Talked to my doc and he said it's totally fine, shouldn't be any side effects or anything. He actually changed my prescription to say to skip the placebo, so that I don't have any problems when it's time to get more

I'm not sure I understood the question correctly, but you can 'skip' or delay your period by skipping the placebo/sugar pills and going straight to the next pack. It's not dangerous or anything, but I wouldn't do it too often.
