Planned on a water birth but labored in the tub at the hospital. Water broke at 7pm and was dilated to a 4-5cm. Around 10pm I walked the halls and sat on an exercise ball. By 11pm I got into the water and felt immediate relief. By 2am I was fully dilated. By 2:30am doctor was there. I was trying to push but was exhausted due to barely any sleep the night before and didn't eat well that day. By 2:45 I asked for the epidural. The anesthesiologist was there by 3am. By 3:15 I felt relief. My son was born by 3:35am weighed 7lbs 10oz and 20 inches long! Best day of my life!!
