Does anyone have a closed over nipple piercing and find that feeding from that side is particularly painful. I had a piercing when I was 16. It got infected and I took it out. Now I have a scar over the nipple. I have seen a lactation consultant who said the scar tissue might not stretch as well and that is causing the pain. Has anyone else had this problem and did it get better. Any tips on what I can do to make feeding off that side easier. My baby is 2 weeks old.
