Celebrating older siblings with a newborn

My son's birthday is 5 days after my new daughter's due date.. I'm so beyond sad that I'm not going to be able to celebrate his birthday as we traditionally do with a big blow out.

Any suggestions as to something special we can still do just on a smaller scale? TIA
