Are you ready for baby?

I'm 31 weeks and still need quite a few things for my daughter. This is my 3rd pregnancy and with the other 2 I was already prepared and ready, bought everything by now. I don't have anything left from my other kids as my youngest is nearly 6 years old. Are you mom's ready for baby? Have you gotten everything you needed? When will you do your shopping?

This will be baby #5 for me, so it was easy to determine what is actually necessary and what is just going to gather dust..she has everything she needs until she's 6 months old, aside from diapers of course..we have several packs/boxes but of course we will need more eventually lol :) I don't understand all these women going out and spending thousands of dollars on junk that their baby will use once or not at all..in my opinion for example, changing tables. Honestly. "Oh I just bought a changing table for $700!" Good for you hunny, but at 3am when you're exhausted, your body hurts, and you're doing good just to hold one eye open..you're not going to care whether you change a diaper on that expensive table or in the middle of the floor! Ntm, they would only be useful for about 6-9mo, then they're just taking up space or holding more junk that takes up space..ever tried wrestling a gator on a paddle board? That's kinda what changing a diaper of a 6 month old on a changing table feels like. But to each their own..

This baby #4 for me and this pregnancy by far is the most calm I have been towards the end. I have nothing but a few outfits and a crib from my sister-in-law (not even set up). By now I know what I need and what's a waste of money so I think it makes me calm and I know I still have some time. Maybe next month I'll start grabbing what I need after my baby shower.

Not even close to being ready. Everyone keeps telling me not to buy anything till my baby shower so I'm gonna wait. We'll see how that goes

I was really blessed because I had 2 cousins give me clothes and a friend gave me clothes as well. My cousin gave me a rocking seat thing, a travel system so i have the carseat, a playmat thing and a bath pod. I need somw stuff still but i havent had a baby shower yet which my church is having one for me.

I didn't buy much a box of diapers and a few outfits my baby shower is Saturday so nervously hoping that will turn out okay

I went to yardsales early in the summer and got a lot, most everything else I got from the shower my mil threw for us. I think I still need a couple of things but I keep forgetting to order them, or I forget what they are when I remember I need to prefer something lol. I'm having a diaper party in a few weeks, cause thats basically all that I need. I really just wanna celebrate with my side of the family since they will be closer to baby growing up. I have a huge box of NB diapers and a couple packages of wipes set up and ready. Besides needing to do a couple of diy things I think I'm ready.
