Low and High points??
My husband and I have been married for over two years now. He's an amazing guy and we get along very well.
He grew up in a broken household with an abusive father, his parents never showed affection for him. No hugs or kisses or I love yous.
I was raised completely opposite. My parents have been married for 36 years, hugs, kisses, & I love yous were used like crazy!
Lately I've become bothered at the lack of intimacy between us. I'm not talking about sex, I'm talking about kissing, hugs, touches, etc. We have both talked about this before. I am a very touchy person, because to me this is how I show love. I was raised this way.
I'm having a hard time realizing that he loves me in different ways. We have been thru very hard things together and I know in my heart he loves me to death.
Are there any other women out there in a similar situation? How did you and your husband work it out?
