This was baby number two.  With the first I was in labor for about 24 hours. 9 or so hours of excruciating pain before I broke down and got an epidural.  Then I stalled, they broke my water and was given pitocin and the rest was history.  This go round my water broke out of nowhere (hadn't had th bloody show or anything) and within two hours I had a healthy baby girl.  No time for an epidural because I had the baby in less than 20 minutes after arriving at the hospital.  So greatful for a quick delivery.  It was brutal but so worth it.
