Common law vent

I've been with my spouse sense I left my ex. I'm going for custody of my son and because I live with my spouse I don't qualify for legal aid because of the money HE makes. I don't make any money! He shouldn't have to pay for MY lawyer to get my son! No we don't make enough to afford a lawyer but oh golly. Why don't I just be some welfare bum so I can get help where I 'need' it
