8 dpo cervix hig

So I have been doing the whole checking cervical changes to help determine fertility and I feel like my cervix is usual low and open at this time of the month. I am 8 dpo and my cervix is still really high, what does this mean? Took pregnancy test yesterday and got a bfn. We have been trying to conceive for a year and on clomid for 3 months. Any ideas?
