Anyone kind of afraid to tell their in-laws?

My in-laws are really awful. They never support myself or my fiancé and they always make their opinions very clear. His sisters have always been top priority and they've always treated us like the second class. It's super frustrated and I've had such anxiety about telling his parents because I can just hear what they are going to say and I foresee nothing positive.
