Pump rental?

Does anyone know how you go about renting a pump through your insurance? I breast fed my first son for a solid 8 months- with no pumping. This baby- I'll have to go to work when he's 3 months and I plan on pumping through lunch, not wanting to buy if I don't have to. Also, I would do manual, but of course prefer electric. (My insurance is bcbs anthem in Missouri)

I called my insurance and they hooked me up with a website to order it and went over the options. I have to wait til 30 days out to order. I believe most insurances must cover this as a provision of Obamacare. Give them a call and save some $$!!!

My pump was fully covered by my insurance and I own it not a rental.

I have bcbs and I called them to see if they covered breast pumps and they told me they do 100%. Just call the number on the back of your card and ask to be sure! She told me where to go to get one and everything.

Have you called to see if they cover a pump? I would check that before you look at rentals. Most hospitals rent them and so does babies r us.
