I'm 14 years old and transmasculine. I really want to start birth control so I can stop my period and feel more manly and also so I can swim on the swim team any time of the month BUT I'm worried about other consequences. Would there be any other side effects to taking birth control besides not having a period? I really need to know because I dont want to start and have something go wrong.
