So I've finally gotten to a point in pregnancy where people feel certain enough that I'm pregnant to make conversation about it. While I was doing errands with my daughter the other day, an old lady spotted us and said "uh-oh, looks like baby number two is on its way." And I said "yup!" And she asks if we know what we are having yet. I told her that it was a boy. She goes "Good! One of each. Now you can sew it up! You won't get anything different after that." Lol what the actual fuck? I told my SO about it when he got out of work he just about choked from laughter. It's too funny what some people will say with out a second thought. The lady just kept talking! Apparently she has four grandsons and no granddaughters and she is terribly disappointed by it. She used to be a seemstess and wants to make dresses for granddaughters but her daughter doesn't want to risk having another boy. Apparently "the world would be a better place if everybody just had one of each and called it quits" haha... You'd think she would understand from personal experience that it doesn't work that way. 😂
