Can Xanax cause pregnancy?

Quick question.. Im on Xanax for my anxiety. About a couple weeks ago is when I started on it. My SO and I had sex twice with me on it.. Once when I was ovulating and last Friday. Now I'm 8dpo and 3 days late, tomorrow will be 4 days late. My SO and I believe I'm definitely pregnant! Waiting till I'm at least 11dpo to test.. Just want some opinions on if Xanax can cause a better chance of fertility?

I would talk to your dr about tapering off while ttc. Xanax is a benzo and can be harmful to the baby! And it's not something I would cold turkey quit on either depending o the dose! Talk to your doc!

Xanax is not known to assist in fertility. Additionally, starting a period at 5 dpo seems a bit soon to me.

Nope it shouldn't have any effect, I believe it isn't supposed to be taken during pregnancy though.

Maybe if it decreases your stress ... But once you get a positive talk to your doc about a med that's safe for pregnancy, I've heard Zoloft is good
