Right now I am pregnant with my 3rd and have two sons that are 11 and 4. My parents have always been a huge part in their lives since they wre born. I have always trusted my parents with them and have never worried about anything happening to them when they visit them. Recently my parents got divorced. So on the weekends my boys spend with them my mom would have them for a night and then my dad would pick them up for a night. Well my oldest just told me that my dad has been driving while drunk with my kids in the truck! My dad has claimed to be sober for over 30 years. I didn't know he started drinking again let alone driving my kids after drinking. I called my mom and told her what my son told me and she said she already knew for awhile now! Wtf she knew he would drink and drive with my kids and never said a word to me! Needless to say I am PISSED! I went off on both my parents. I feel like can no longer trust either of them. I told my dad he is not allowed to drive my kids anywhere anymore. He had the nerve to tell me I was overreacting. I have been so stressed and upset all day over this. I can't even eat or sleep. I would let my boys go with see my parents about twice a month and now I feel like I can't allow that anymore.
