Around what week do drs usually schedule a csection?

I've had 2 previous c sections but neither of them were planned so I'm just wondering around when will they schedule...and do they schedule it right before they do it or weeks in advance?

My doctor told me that she preforms scheduled csections at 39 weeks.

I just had my 28 week appt and they told me they'll schedule it within 6 weeks

In the UK they book you at 36 weeks and its for 39 weeks unless there is a problem with baby and needs to be born earlier 😊 xxx

Mine was scheduled really early for 39 weeks. I know I wasn't even 20 weeks when they called to schedule it. I actually thought they had called the wrong patient because it was so early lol

I scheduled mine at 24 weeks for 36 weeks.

However last time the scheduled me at 35 weeks for 39 weeks

They scheduled mine when I was 25 weeks to be done October 27th.....so weeks in advance for me

Usually 38-39 weeks. Very rarely will they schedule it for your due date.
