My brother is Zachery and goes by Zach, I don't think there is any confusion on spelling from people who know him.

Personally every Zach I've met spelled his name "Zach." Plus, coming from a person with an unusual spelling for her name, I've gotten used to automatically spelling my name out when necessary. People rarely if ever complain.

There's plenty of Zacs and Zachs. People will probably ask most of the time. Zack is just a different way to shorten Zachary as well from what I've seen.
