Mixed Messages! Advice please

I used a digital pregnancy test this morning (33 days after the start of my last period) and got a BFN but when I ejected the the test capsule to throw it away, I saw this underneath...

Now, I see a faint line there, but the digital result was definitely BFN. Has this happened to anyone else? What does it mean??? I'm so confused. 😫

For comparison, I got a BFP on the same brand of test in April (I had a missed miscarriage in June 😢) and this is the capsule from that test with the second line clear:
