Constipation/diarrhea

So I have been constipated pretty much my entire pregnancy. I've been taking stool softeners for about 6 weeks now. All of the sudden a week ago I started getting terrible diarrhea daily. This last for an entire week. I stopped taking the stool softeners as I was afraid it was making it worse.

Well of course, then I became constipated. So I switched back to the daily stool softener. And here I am with horrendous diarrhea again.

I don't know what to do anymore! This back and forth is killing me.

I'm 32 weeks tomorrow.
