Too soon to ultrasound?

Question

I found out I was pregnant a week ago with positive HPT and positive urine test at the doctor. The doctor told me I was around 5 weeks based on the 1st day of my last period. I went in for an ultrasound yesterday and she couldn't see anything on it that would confirm the pregnancy. She said it could just be too early, but I'm still freaking out. Could it really be just too soon to see anything on the ultrasound or could have I have had a miscarriage without any symptoms? :(

My doctor told me she doesn't do them before 7 weeks, because sometimes they can't be seen earlier than that and people worry.

I went in and was told I was almost 4 weeks. She still did an ultrasound to make sure that there wasn't anything else going on and to also have a base line set for when I go back on the 9th. All that showed up was a "stripe". She said it was too soon to really see anything though so try not to worry about it too much. I'm sure you have another ultrasound appointment set up for a couple weeks out. 😀

Yep normal. U could have ovulated later than your norm, and really at 5 weeks u can't see anything... I went to the er for some pain I was having the last time I was pg and I should have been 6 weeks, but when I went to my Dr that Monday following the er visit we did an ultrasound and I was 5 weeks, we seen baby and seen the flicker of hb bit couldn't hear it. U may just be earlier than u think.

I had this at six weeks on my last pregnancy went back a few weeks later and there was a baby. Could just be too early
