BDSM or abuse?

I saw this post on Facebook (shown below) and I just wanted to see what everyone else thinks of it. 
I'm ok with people that like so be submissive or dominant but there's a line... In my opinion, NO ONE should ever look like this after sex. A few bruises? Ok, that's fine. A lot of bruises so it looks like you've been thrown about? No. No way.

There's no real way to know if this is abuse ir not. Bdsm is consentual and if at any point either isn't enjoying it they stop. With that being said there are some people who disregard that the other wants them to stop and that is really when it becomes abuse. There are a lot of girls that enjoy this. I think it's way too much but oh well. If they like it it isn't my business

The thing is, is its their line to distinguish. If they have an understanding and are happy then it is fine. People do cut play and blood play but this hasn't broken skin. I see where you are coming from but it isn't really up to you to decide how far a relationship should be taken sexually

I've been in the scene long enough that I've both seen people look like this and looked like this myself. My friend is a Pro Domme, and when I play with her, I'm pretty close to this. I've seen people hung by back piercings from the ceiling. People who were pierced with hundreds of needles. People who enjoy being set on fire or shocked with electricity.

It depends, did both the people consent to acts like that?? If not then it's abuse. I have a friend who really gets turned on by blood and gore, so they do types of BDSM to the point where they bleed but since they're both into it and consent to those actions it's not abuse. You can't really judge or say how far people will go since some people also get turned on to near death experiences and such

It's not really  anyone's place to tell people what line they shouldnt cross. That's completely up to them. I could never imagine being down for shit like that but if they're two consenting adults who have taken the necessary precautions and are completely totally okay with it, more power to them. I'm sure they know what they're doing

My concern would be that people who partake in this extreme level of bdsm might be using it to subconsciously work through past physical, psychological and/or sexual abuse.
