Dollar store pregnancy test!?

Has anyone ever used a dollar store pregnancy? Came out positive and turned out to be true after checking in with their doctor?

I always thought the general rule of thumb was to get dollar store pregnancy tests and if one comes positive to buy an "actual pregnancy test" at a local grocery store.

Always used dollar tree tests. My two positives were right. I still took the blood test at kaiser though after haha. And turns out I was 11 weeks! Didn't have any symptoms

I am currently ttc and I use the dollar store tests. Several of my friends who have had kids as well as my doctors have recommended them. I am using them for now but if I get a positive then I'll use a more expensive test to confirm.
