After the baby is born and you take him home do they do a drug screen on you after you have had he/she....? How long after do you and your newborn baby go back to get checked out ...?

When my baby went for his two day check up they asked if I smoked or if anyone in the house smokes (which neither me or my husband smoke) and I told her no never, but she told me it's a question they have to ask every visit. So yes most likely they will be asking you

Not sure about that, I see in the comments you haven't smoked but honestly I don't think it's better to smoke around a newborn. 😁 also idk if you plan on breastfeeding or whatever so I'm not sure how that will work

Depending on where you live, they may drug test both you and the baby at the hospital.

It depends on where you live. Every state has different rules about testing/screening. I don't think my hospital does any testing.
