Why do people feel the need...

Question

To tell pregnant women that the baby will come when the baby is ready! Like no freakin duh I think we've all established that. I seen a girl on Facebook talking about being induced because she was almost 41 weeks and the lady commented and told her that the baby will come when the baby is ready. Maybe it's just my hormones or the fact that everything has been pissing me off today lol but I really felt like telling that lady that I'm pretty sure all pregnant women know that by now!

I'm guilty of saying this. But only to women on here who insist they self induce before full term. 🙄

If I was that girl on Facebook I would have told the woman that obviously the baby isn't ready and is out of time. most doctors won't let you go to 42 weeks. At your 41 week appointment they set an induction date and tell you if you haven't had the baby in the next few days you'll be induced. 
It drives me crazy when people say the baby will come when they are ready. Unless you are trying to induce labor at 37 weeks.

Well, I use that phrase on my mom because she keeps using her "mother's intuition" to tell me when the baby will come. If she guesses one more date, I might  leap and pregger tackle her.

I've always heard it's dangerous for the baby to stay in the womb for too long.
