So I'm going out on a limb here but everyone is helpful on here so I figured I would give it a shot. My boyfriend has had a small, hard, black spot UNDERNEATH his skin for 6 months or so. He went to the doctor recently and she said she thought maybe it was a tumor or a blood vessel going the wrong way. Then she said she thought it could be an infected infrown hair. So being the dumb kid he is he decided he was going to tamper with it and pop it to see if a hair came out... And nothing did, just blood. Then over the course of 24 hours it is now raised above the skin and it is bruised, hard and hurts him more now and is spreading . We went to the ER last night and the doctor was stunned. He said he didn't know what it is and he has never seen anything like it. It's spreading. He said if he thought it was anything maybe it was a hematoma.. But he didn't know.. Has anyone had anything similar or known anyone? I'm not satisfied with the answer "I have no idea" from the doctor...
