Umbilical Hernia

I had an ultrasound yesterday, and as I was lowering myself onto the bed, my belly button protruded up and I had a huge raised part of my stomach right up the middle. Freaking out, I asked the tech what was happening. She said it was no big deal, probably just an umbilical hernia and that they're common.

Is this something I need to be worried about?? Of course I Googled it, and it says that sometimes the only way to fix it is with surgery... HELP!
