How long does your LO feed?

Abigail is 3 months now, exclusively BF and she eats for 5-7 about every 2-2.5 hours. Eveywhere I read it tells me she should be eating for longer... anybody else have a similar situation? Any thoughts?

My little one used to eat for about 15-20 minutes then slowly eat faster. She now eats 3-9 minutes. I go to a breast feeding support group. I found out she ate 4oz in 8 minutes. Then another time she ate 2.4oz in about 4 minutes. They can eat fast once they know what they're doing. She eats about every 2-3 hours.

My little guy has always been a fast eater. Even when he was two weeks old, he'd only eat off one side, for less then 10 min. I freaked out too cuz everyone was telling me how feedings should take like 30 min with them eating on both sides. But he's a chunk so I know he's getting enough. Now, he eats in 5-7. If he takes longer than that it's because he's playing.

My baby girl turn 3 months today and since 3 days ago she's being eating between 7-14 min sometimes even shorter, I was kind of concert too but I feel better now that I know she's not the only one

My little girl is the same way! I was really concerned at the beginning because the nurse told me she really needs to be eating for at least 15 mins. My LO has never eaten more than 12 mins (now it's about 6-8) every 2-4 hours and she has always shown good growth and weight gain. We are lucky to have efficient eaters!

My almost 3 mo old eats anywhere from 3-20 minutes. He tends to go shorter periods now that he has a soother because he doesn't use me for comfort anymore.
