We have huge Italian American families and don't talk to them all! And don't like them all! When I say don't talk I mean radio silence other than weddings or when they need something. One of them doesn't even ever come to weddings. And my mother and aunt don't speak. And my future MIL and her brother don't speak. And her brother has a wife, 4 kids, and a son in law.
