pumping

How often should I be pumping? How long do I pump for each time enjoy pump only one boob or both boobs each time?  I was breast-feeding but it's hurting so much and honestly I am so miserable doing it and I feel so bad because I know it's a bonding experience between me and my daughter. She's latching on but it it's not a good latch because it hurts so bad every time and when she's done my nipple looks like a tube of lipstick. So now I'm pumping and feeding her formula. My last hope is that I'm trying to get a lactation consultant to my house to help me out with the latch if not then I might just abandon breast-feeding for my boob period. Also can you still lose weight just breast pumping? My baby is 9 days old.
