I was diagnosed in March of this year. Periods were maybe twice a year, if that. I work out all the time kept packing on the weight, crossfitting 8+ hours a week and weighing all my food, on a meal plan, counting everything and my weight kept going up. Finally went to the doctors and lab tests and ultrasound all came back positive for PCOS and insulin resistance. Started on 2,000mg of Metformin daily, felt like shit the entire time I was on it, and ortho tri cyclen bc. The BC made me balloon up to 195lbs in a month, felt miserable and bloated the entire time, still no periods. Quit taking bc and did some research and found the Ketogenic diet. Tried it and dropped 15lbs in a month! Which I was ecstatic about! Meanwhile when I started keto I quit the metformin, after 28 days low and behold had my first period by myself in I have no idea how long! Stayed with keto, dropped another 5lbs, and started my period again by myself! All the pelvic pain has disappeared, my acne has vanished, the little bit of dark facial hair I had has lightened. So thankful I didn't listen to my doctor, did my research and found something that has helped my PCOS and reverse my insulin resistance. My non-fasting blood sugars have dropped way down, averaging 107-112 at the end of the day

Was diagnosed at 15 so fair few moons ago since having a child I now only have one ovarie that is poly cystic

I was diagnosed with PCOS 4yrs ago. A year ago found out I have diabetes. Ironically i was prescribed metformin for my diabetes which helps my period come regularly. I have a 12yr child but have been unsuccessful getting pregnant over the past years. I want to get pregnant one more time but at this point Ive lost hope.

Yup diagnosed two years ago. Personally pcos makes me less feminine.

I do! I was diagnosed around 8 years ago and was just put on Metformin this year!

Yes, me in it:(  Have slim PCOS, tried Monitored Cycle with Clomid (50mg) +Ovidrel shot last month which had me ovulated but my doc put me off it due to thin lining, now I'm taking a break to see if my cycle starts naturally. Tracking BBT and OPK everyday,  feeling it will be a long wait....trying Maca and just ordered red raspberry leaf tea, at least will give it a try, good luck and let me know if I can be of any help,

I have pcos was diagnosed jan this year but i always had an inclin that i had them along side mild endomedtrioses been started of chlomid now really hope this helps had a scan on wednesday and showed i was going to ovulate in the next few days
