How do you know when baby dropped ?

How can you tell baby dropped ??? 🤔 I'm 39 weeks and I am not sure how to determine this.

I feel like it's one of those things that you just "know." Mine clearly dropped (I can see it) and it's so much more painful to walk and I can't get comfortable no matter what!

It feels heavier but lighter all at once your pelvic bones get sore trying to walk and just look at any bump selfies you can see it clearer from any old to new picture.

Personally for me, I can see a difference and there's less pressure on my upper body. I can breathe a little easier and I feel a lot more pressure in my pelvic area. Can also feel more movement down that way than I did before :)

Oops for some reason that sent. I'm just over 39 weeks and I don't feel like I dropped yet either but other people seem to think I have. I know baby is head down and ready can't wait anytime now. Good luck!

I thought I dropped but turns out I didn't!! My doctor told me yesterday baby still hasn't dropped. She basically said when u start feeling pressure on your pelvic then it dropped, and if ur still having shortness of breath then it hasn't dropped yet.

I'm short so it's hard to tell, but I'm pretty sure that baby did drop. Now I have about 2inches between my ribs and stomach where I had no room before. I can also breath a lot better.
