Tylenol is considered safe, but I avoid it anyway because there was a study recently that showed prolonged Tylenol use is linked to ADHD in the baby. If you feel super crappy though, some Tylenol here and there is probably ok.
Generally just start taking vitamin C in addition to your prenatal vitamins. It's saved me from getting sick so far, and I'm someone who gets sick easily.

Not sure for a cold, but I had a sinus infection and was told I could take Tylenol cold and sinus, Sudafed, mucinex, robitussin. And saline spray helped a lot

I was told no Sudafed in the first trimester. Try a Neti pot or saline nasal spray. Your doctor should also provide you with a list of safe meds for various ailments.
