Cooked a nice creamy chicken dinner And had to put the pan in the oven to finish cooking (pan with long handle). I took it out with a hot pad and then lost my brain. I set the pan on the stove and set the joypad down. I just instinctively grabbed the handle, forgetting I had just pulled it out of the oven and burned the crap out of my thumb. I immediately ran my hand under cold water and thought it was okay. As soon as I took it out after a minute or two, it hurt soooo bad. I put it back under water but started crying because it hurt abd cause I feel like an idiot! Now sitting with an ice pack on it cause it hurts like crazy.
